Garmin Asus nuvifone A50′s look and feel is softheaded, the program is quite letdown. It seems like the company isn’t series to compete in the bis space of mobile phone industry. When compared to G60, A50 now takes a slimmer form. The look of the nuvifone was more voguish with glossy panel rather than usual dull sat nav slabs.
The screen measures 3.5 inches holding a resolution of 320X480 pixels. The display had sharp visuals with satisfying clarity. Certain action took time to respond like when trying to switch from portrait to landscape mode and so. The front screen controls are touch sensitive designed with a view to withdraw pressure from the user when the device is placed on the car dock. 
The home screen, instead of a usual panel style, offers three magnanimous buttons to dial a call, navigate to destination and see where you are on the map. On the right placed is a column of applications which can be customized by the user to display the ones that is been used most frequently. The shortcut column remains visible while on home screen and main menu so as to have access to frequently used applications anywhere.
A50 is well furnished with navigational features like weather information, lane assistance, fuel prices, junction views, traffic and more. A50 is for sure a very competitive sat nav when shipped. Some of the other features leaving navigation are Active Sync with Microsoft exchange, Google street view support, 3 megapixel camera, and 4GB built in memory along with microSD expansion card slot.
