gps child location Nu.M8 Satellite Navigator – a gizmo to keep track of childrenAs a parent you are overtly concerned about your child’s safety, thus you do not allow your child to venture out alone. You would want to go along with him wherever he goes, but your work pressure keeps you engaged elsewhere. In this process you child is missing out on his freedom and the wonderful memories that is connected with this tender age. Also only a happy and contented child grows to be a responsible adult. Thus it is very important to have a very happy and fulfilled childhood. But it is perfectly correct on your part to be worried about the safety of your child. To solve this problem of parents and children technology has now introduced a satellite navigator, the Nu.M8,  that can help parents keep track of their children within 10 feet. So now your child can enjoy his childhood years and you can keep track of your child’s whereabouts.

This GPS system has been designed to be worn by children. This device is concealed inside a digital watch. Parents just need to fasten this watch on the child’s wrist, if you child or someone else forcibly tries to remove it then it will trigger an alert signal to the parent’s mobile. Parents can track find the whereabouts of their children by typing “wru” or “where are you” on the secure website and  location of their child is displayed on Google maps along with the street address and postcode.

As a parent you can decide where you want your child to play and also which are the safe areas from him to venture. The Nu.M8 allows you to programme the safe zones meant for your child. In case your child ventures away from the safe zone the an alert is sent to the parent’s mobile or computer immediately. This waterproof watch sat nav is expected hit the market in March and its cost is estimated as  £149.99 along with a monthly subscription fee of £9.99; which is a small price to pay for your child’s safety. Steve Salmon the Chief Executive of Lok8u (the firm launching this watch) wants children to experience the joys and sorrows of childhood, whilst assuring parents their child’s whereabouts.

As you can provide more independence to your child you are in fact providing more learning opportunities. The unit comes with a long battery life of up-to 100 hours on a single charge. With this unit your child gets more physical activity that builds up his fitness levels and also helps combat any kind of obesity problems. As it is waterproof your child can also go swimming with it strapped on their wrist. Due to its funky looks, it is sure to become a fashion statement  among kids. So now with this device strapped on your child’s wrist you can rest assured that he is within your supervision no matter where he goes to learn and explore.
