Blaupunkt has introduced an entry level GPS device; the Blaupunkt Travelpilot 100 Satellite Navigator that uses the company’s own navigational software. These new GPS units come with improved points of interest and a facility to import police radar information.
Blaupunkt Travelpilot 100 In-Car Satellite Navigator comes with a 3.5-inch touch screen display that has a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It runs on a Windows CE 5.0 platform powered by a Centrality Atlas III dual core processor that is clocked at 400MHz. It includes a 1GB integrated ROM memory; this memory capacity can be increased up-to 8GB using SD or MMC memory cards. Its rechargeable battery comes with a total battery life of only 3 hours. The sat nav comes with an internal in-built antenna that is integrated with a Centrality Atlas III GPS receiver. It uses the Blaupunkt navigation software for routing purposes. It has a total dimension of 99×99x16.9 mm and a weight of 175 grams.

Blaupunkt Travelpilot 300 In-Car Satellite Navigator comes with a dimension of 90×123x17,5mm and a weight of 225 grams. It uses Windows CE .Net operating system and works on ARM9 processor clocked at 400MHz. It includes an internal RAM memory of 64MB and a flash memory of 4GB.
