Ford Motor Company plans to offers a satellite navigation system to MyFord touch in dash car system that provides the drivers fuel economy routes as much as to save fuel by 15%. The automaker said that the device provided to the drivers give them an additional option of GPS navigation to choose fuel efficient path, based upon the real time as well as historic data. The path cover up the major routes, avoiding highways so that the cars can travel at consistent speed and save fuel.
Alan Hall, a spokesperson said that the Eco route system will be revealed by Bill Ford, Executive Chairman, tonight and is been planed to be brought in during the mid of this year as a choice on the Edge sport utility car. The Eco route system with navigation option will be priced significantly fewer than 738.793 EUR.
This new Eco friendly device from Ford is sure to attract many for its incredible fuel efficiency. Most of the long trip drivers and frequent drivers will find this feature very interesting.
