Following the Garmin GPSMap 76, Garmin has founded its successor Garmin GPSMap 76S Marine & Hiking Satellite Navigator, which comes with some additional functionalities. It measures around 6.9 x 15.7 x 3.0 cm in dimension and weighs about 218 grams. It comes with a 2.7-inch LCD display that comes with a resolution of 180 x 240 pixels. This sat nav is powered by 2xAA batteries that have a maximum battery life lasting up-to 16 hours. For interface with the computer, it includes a serial port.
