MyGuide has introduced a new model MyGuide 3300 that is a portable satellite navigator with navigational features and some advanced functionalities. This unit offers a 3.5-inch touch screen display for viewing the navigational data. The screen provides a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and supports about 65K colours. The MyGuide 3300 In-Car Satellite Navigator comes with a dimension of 13 x 7.6 x 3 cm and a weight of 190 grams. It is equipped with a 64MB RAM and a 2GB ROM memory and includes an external memory card slot for SD or MMC memory cards. Working on a Windows CE platform, it runs on an Intel Xscale processor that is clocked at 300MHz.
MyGuide 3300 Satellite Navigator comes preloaded with the maps of 42 European countries along with millions of points of interests making it easy for a user to locate the nearest petrol station, restaurant or ATM, etc. Its in-built antenna is integrated with a SiRF star III GPS receiver for quick acquisition of satellites. Along with accurate visual route guidance the unit also provides precise and timely voice instructions enabling a user to concentrate better on driving. Its TMC feature provides real-time traffic info that notifies you about the traffic congestions well in advance. In case of road blocks the unit can automatically compute an alternative route for you.
MyGuide 3300 Hand-Held Multimedia Satellite Navigator provides an MP3 player for user to listen to favourite music tracks. It also includes a picture viewer and provides Bluetooth compatibility owing to which a user can make and receive hands free calls and talk while driving. Finally, it is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that offers a 3 hour of battery life.
