Navman N40i Satellite Navigation

With a range of advanced features, Navman has recently launched their new navigation system named as Navman N40i satellite navigation system. This compact and stylish device can be your best travel companion while travelling.

This is an in-car navigation system that is a stand alone unit. The receiver type used in the device is a 12 channel parallel receiver that can receive signals from 12 different satellites at the same time. It also integrated SiRF Star III chipset for better functioning.

There is a colour liquid crystal display unit for quality visual effects. The monitor supports a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Its display size is 9 centimetre. It is touch screen type of monitor.

Navman N40i satellite navigation system comes integrated with an SD memory that helps to load large maps. The supported memory size of the device is 61 MB.

It comes integrated with a battery that offers a battery life of only 2 hours. Apart from these this new sat nav device also features a range of other functions. A significant feature amongst them is the built in digital camera of the device. The back on track feature of the navigator takes you to the correct route if you go the wrong way or miss a route in between.

There is a universal serial bus type interface which helps to connect to a PC or other compatible devices. The unit has compact dimensions with the height of 8.1 cm, width of 11.8 cm and a depth of 2.25 cm. This device weighs just 200 grams.
