kenneth thomas backshell :

Sir, I purchased my NV-U50 here in southern Spain where I live and have been trying out the unit over the last few days.
basically I am very pleased except only for two points -

(1) The map is only for Spain? and this was not made clear when purchased the product by looking at the box where several times during the year I need to travel through France over to England.

(2) The map keeps highlighting to me that the version is over a year old and therefore may not be accurate and in my personal trials I have prooved this to be the case, for instance …
In my area of southern Spain many new roads and additions have come on stream for at least a minimum of 12 months, The map in some instances shows me driving through a potato field with the road going away and disappearing to the left or right.
Apart from worrying about the reaction of the Farmer and having spoken to the shop where purchased (a famous chain of shops selling exclusivly car auto parts)with regards to a possible update disk I was told that they had no knowledge of such a system and that I should contact your goodselves to resolve possibly both the above problems. Thanking you in antisipation kenneth
