LG has introduced a compact and portable LG LN840 GPS System, that is a complete all rounder when it comes to navigational systems. The LG LN840 In-Car GPS System is 126mm wide, 82.6mm high and 18.6mm thick. The navigational data is displayed on the device’s wide 4.3-inch touch screen monitor that has a display resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. The screen supports more than 260000 colours. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that comes with a total battery life of up-to 4 hours. It has a flash memory capacity of 2GB and a 64MB RAM capacity; this internal memory capacity can be increased using SD and MMC storage cards.
LG LN840 GPS System uses the Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system, which works on the Samsung S3C2443 processor, clocked at 40MHz. It has a 3.5mm socket for connecting headphones. The device’s internal antenna is integrated with a Sirf Star III GPS receiver. Along with map details, this one includes millions of points of interest.
