The Magellan Maestro 5310 is an attempt to meet the customer requests of an easy to use navigational unit that comes with bigger font and screen sizes. This Magellan Maestro 5310 In-Car Satellite Navigator comes with a wide 5-inch WQVGA touch screen display. It has a dimension of 14.34 x 9.18 x 2.03 cm. It provides a GPS accuracy of 3-5 meters with the help of it Centrality Atlas III 30-channel and WAAS compatible system. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery provides a total life of 3 hours. The device’s internal memory can be increased using external SD memory cards.
Magellan Maestro 5310 comes preloaded with the maps of the entire US, Canada and Puerto Rico. With around 6 million points of interest, you can easily locate what you want such as petrol stations or restaurants or ATMs. This compact GPS unit will provide you with accurate and regular voice directions while its text-to-speech function will read out the names of streets and junctions as and when they appear on screen. This portable sat nav is integrated with a traffic receiver that can provide real-time traffic information. The Live Traffic service is free for the first 3 months, later you will need to get an annual subscription. Owing to the Live traffic feature, the road blocks and traffic congestions are intimated well in advance. In such cases the unit will automatically compute an alternative route and guide you along it.
Magellan Maestro 5310 Ultra-Slim Satellite Navigator comes built-in with an AAA TourBook. This guide provides instant access to AAA rated and approved restaurants, lodgings, discount locations, etc. It has a tow-truck icon that provides immediate access to nearest AAA approved road assistance service. The Magellan Maestro 5310 will ship with an AC adapter, a Vehicle power adapter along with a FM traffic antenna, a USB cable, an Adhesive disc, a wind-shield mount, a cradle, and an instruction manual.
