Mio Moov 560 In-Car Satellite Navigator comes with a large 4.7-inch touch screen display, which has a display resolution of 480×272 pixels. It works on Windows CE .Net 5.0 operating system, that runs on a Samsung 2443 processor clocked at 400MHz. This sat nav is 13.9cm wide, 8.4cm high, 1.8cm thick and has a weight of 180 grams. The internal memory of 64MB can be increased using SD/MMC memory cards. It runs on a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery that has a battery life of only 2 hours. It comes with a USB slot for easy interface with the computer and an in-built microphone. Its internal in-built antenna is integrated with a 20-channel SirfStar III GPS receiver.
Mio Moov 560 Satellite Navigator has the maps of 22 Western European countries preloaded in the system. This satellite navigator displays the maps in 2D and 3D forms. It can plan the shortest and the closest route to your destination. Along with route guidance you are provided with voice instructions as well. It features a Text-to-Speech feature, wherein the device speaks out the names of roads and junctions as they approach. This helps you concentrate on the road thus avoiding the need to look into the device frequently. Voice instructions as well as menu navigation can be done in 13 different European languages. Thus you can set a language as per your convenience.
Mio Moov 560 Portable Satellite Navigator with Bluetooth provides you with the facility to call hands free whilst navigating. This Local Search Bluetooth facility can also be used for searching a location as it provides you with live information about various locations en-route thus informing you about the nearby hotels or gas stations. It also includes a Trip meter, which can be used to calculate the distance travelled and the speed at which travelling was done. It comes with an in-built Mileage Reporter that informs you about the mileage details. Mio Moov 560 includes a windscreen mount, a USB cable, an in-car charger, a CD-ROM with necessary software and a user friendly manual.

I believe that MIO has missed the plot. At least for SA. The maps are way behind the other GPS’s and the responsivness of the cpu is very poor. Have to wait sometimes up to 30sec before it respond. To my amazement I only found that you are unable to enter co-ordinates into the GPS. Wow I expecected this te be std on any GPS. THe software also seems to be lacking in taking into account when you are leaving the recommeded route. At first I thought is was because of the 2 sec update frequency with the satelites but when I was leaving the highway onto an offramp it only re-directed after I was approx 50m away from the highway.
