MyGuide 3100 Satellite Navigator is an entry-level GPS unit that uses MyGuide Navigator 6.1 software for navigational purposes. This entry level device comes with easy operations such that you can just plug the unit to your vehicle and start navigating.
The MyGuide 3100 In-Car Satellite Navigator has a 3.5-inch high quality LCD touch screen display that has a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This screen supports around 65000 colours. This GPS device works on the Microsoft Windows CE .net 5.0 platform that runs on a Centrality processor clocked at 300MHz. It system comes with a 64MB RAM and 64MB ROM internal memory. This internal memory capacity can be increased using SD or MMC external memory cards. This sat nav weighs about 185 grams. It comes with an internal built-in antenna that is integrated with a Centrality Atlas II, 20 channel GPS receiver.
This MyGuide 3100 Satellite Navigator includes the maps of Great Britain and Republic of Ireland and around 1.8 million points of interest. With so many points of interest it makes it a convenient task to locate the nearest place of interest or a hotel or a hospital etc. This sat nav provides precise routing information that leads to your destination as well as provides real-time tracking data. With the real time tracking log you are aware of the road congestions or accidents that have occurred on your planned route well in advance. In such cases the device automatically re-routes you trough an alternative route. Along with accurate route directions this device also provides regular time to time voice instructions thus allowing you to concentrate on the road better. The voice instructions are provided in 24 European languages.
The MyGuide 3100 Entry Level Satellite Navigator provides you the option of being used in pedestrian and bike mode as well. The maps are displayed in 2D and 3D formates along with automatic junction zooms. This devices is accompanied by a car holder, an A/C adapter, a car charger, a car connection cable and an instruction manual.

I bought a MyGuide 3100 from Halfords 18 months ago, it has a 2 year manufacturers warranty but there is no address to contact the manufacturer and as it has failed I don’t know how to get it repaired of replaced. Are you able to advise me?

Offers free online FAQ’s for Myguide that may help any problems, but they wont warranty them for Halfords as they never sold them to Halfords so you have to go back to where you bought them and get them to solve the issue for you.
No Map upgrades are available…. last map data released was April 07 and there are no plans by NavnGo to release an update, no plans by Naviextras either.
