The Navman MY500XT Satellite Navigator can be a travel companion whenever you want to go from one place to another. It sports a stylish 4.7-inch flat touch screen display that includes tap and slide options for operation. Along with clear visual route guidance, detailed voice guidance is also provided enabling a user to concentrate on the road. The junctions and landmarks are displayed in 3 dimensional formats offering the user with better orientation of the region. Destinations can be located using SmartFind keyword search technology. This portable satnav unit is 85mm high, 133mm wide and about 14mm thick and weighs around 182 grams. It consists of a 2GB internal flash memory that can be increased using external microSD memory cards. It is powered by a rechargeable battery that has a life of up to 3 hours.
This Navman MY500XT In-Car Satellite Navigator is equipped with the live traffic updates that notifies you about the traffic jams, road blocks and accident hotspots well in advance avoiding unnecessary delays. Also an alternate route is computed avoiding the traffic congestions. The device comes built-in with New Zealand Wcities guides that offers detailed descriptions of the landmarks, hotels, events and many such local matters. It is also preloaded with the safety camera database that not just notifies the drive about the upcoming speed cameras, but also alerts the user when the legal speed limit is exceeded.
The Navman MY500XT Satellite Navigator is capable of guiding the user via the correct lane in a complex intersection or highway. Its in-built Bluetooth module allows the users to indulge in hands-free calling without interrupting the navigational data. currently available only in New Zealand, Navman is all set to release maps for other countries shortly.
