Navman S300T Sat Nav System is one of a kind navigation device that is powered by Samsung 2450 / 400 MHz processor. The device has dimensions of 78 x 130 x 13.5mms and weighs about 150 grams.
The device displays all the locations through its 4.3 inches Super-flat widescreen of resolution 480 x 270 pixels in 2D as well as 3D perspectives. It stores the locations in its 1 GB internal flash memory and the processing is done fast with its 128MB SDRAM. You have the provision to expand the memory with a microSD memory card slot provided.
The device with a GPS receiver has certain features such as SiRFstarIII with InstantFixII, Real-time Traffic information, POIs, pre-installed safety camera, Intelligent day/night display, true pedestrian mode with 2D city maps, multiple route options and much more. It also gives us premium safety alerts including school zones, speed and red light cameras, blackspots and railway crossings. The software pre-installed in the device provides you with information such as 8-digit postcode search, voice guided instructions, turn by turn alerts etc.
The main feature of the device is that it has pre-loaded maps of 22 western European countries. It also has an FM transmitter and an MP3 player that plays MP3s through your car audio system. Even while travelling, you can use the Bluetooth facility to connect over 1 million businesses online via TrueLocal.
Navman S300T GPS shows the maps using the Tele Atlas map data 2008.7 software and even up-to-date maps with Navman’s iUpData. Another option provided in the device is it the Infobel Local Search via NavDeskT desktop. The device operates on a standard Li-ion battery and the manufacturer offers a warranty of 1 year for this device.
