Ndrive has introduced the first satellite navigator that can sense the level of alcohol in your breath. The NDrive G400 Alcohol Sensor Satellite Navigator also prohibits you from driving if the level of alcohol is beyond the safety mark. This sat nav measures 100 x 88 x 22 millimetres in dimensions and weighs about 153 grams including the weight of the battery. Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system is used that runs on a 32bit Centrality Atlas III processor that is clocked at 300 MHz. It includes a 32MB ROM and a 64MB RAM memory capacity. This internal memory capacity can be increased using SD/SDHC or MMC storage media. Navigational data can be viewed on the device’s 3.5-inch TFT screen that supports more than 65000 colours.
3D photo maps are pre-loaded on a 8GB SDHC memory card, which is compatible with the NDrive G400 Satellite Navigator. Additional European and Brazilian maps can be downloaded onto your system as well. The Ndrive navigational software is included for providing accurate route guidance and turn by turn directions. Thus the major roads and buildings are displayed in 3D formats. A USB slot is provided for easy interface with the computer. Also a 3.5mm socket is provided for connecting headphones. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery supplies power to the device. This rechargeable battery comes with a long battery life of around 7 hours.
The NDrive G400 In-Car Satellite Navigator comes with an alcohol sensor. A built-in breath analyser is situated at one side of this portable unit. You need to blow into the unit and it will tell you the level of alcohol in your breath along with an advice of whether or not you should drive. It also comes with full multimedia features such as music and video player, a picture viewer and a few games. Thus, now the G400 will keep you entertained while you are not navigating. A complete all-rounder and basic entry level sat nav.
