The Ndrive TouchXL is a slim yet powerful GPS unit that offers some novel navigational features. It measures 122 x 79 x 14 mm in dimensions and weighs about 140 grams. Along with its 64MB RAM and 64MB flash memory, it also includes an external memory slot for inserting additional SDHC memory card. Navigational data can be viewed on the device’s 4.3-inch LCD monitor that has a resolution of 480×272 pixels and a touch resistive panel. Similar to its predecessor, the Ndrive Touch, its interfaces include a headphone jack and a mini USB port. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides a battery life of 3-4 hours.
The Ndrive TouchXL Automotive Satellite Navigator is equipped with a light sensor with automatic brightness control. It comes preloaded with the navigational map data of Western Europe along with about 1,400,000 points of interests. With so many pois in the system, you can easily fine the nearest ATMs, petrol stations, hotels, etc. All the buildings and major landmarks are displayed in 3D formats hence providing with a better orientation of the object. It makes use of enhanced searching system that is 60% faster. Also its advanced route recalculation method two times faster. It works on the Windows CE .Net 5.0 operating platform and runs of Atlas III processor that is clocked at 372 MHz.
Ndrive TouchXL Slim Hand-held Satellite Navigator provides you the facility of importing and exporting favourites with Google maps. Also it recognises some standard Gestures, so that you now just need to trace a simple line and the unit will take you where you want to go. Yet another application is the NDrive navigation software and games software that has been designed to provide some entertainment while on the go.
