We bought our satnav about a year ago - we had vouchers for Argos and this was the cheapest one available. We live on the Isle of Wight but travel on the mainland from time to time and have found this budget satnav to be spot on - whether we are playing around by using it on the Island or using it seriously on the mainland it has proved a very simple to use and accurate means of not getting lost. We drive a Renault but I have also used it in a Mazda, whether different cars make a difference? We would recommend this to anyone looking for an occasional use, idiot proof satnav.

RAC 200 EUROPE GPS SYSTEM............ NOT!
This SatNav is a load of crap, Bought it last year and although the maps are pretty much up to date and speed cameras are included, and it allows you to input a speed at which it warns you when you go over it.
I cannot rely on it, it takes about 10-25 minutes to find you after it is switched on, input where you want to go and if it is any more than 2 miles away it will lose you constantly-"no GPS!"
Am fed up trying to get any sort of satisfactory answer as to why this happens, Have tried to use this in a Toyota corolla, Mercedes, Opel combo and Cheverolet and it loses you pretty much after you start out.
For the hell of it I was going to try to use an optional antenna but guess what, Have been told you don't need them so nobody stocks them.
Would advise you to shop elsewhere.

Would have posted something earlier but have only just found out about this site.
