It is being claimed to be the first GPS system that provides the facility of sending text messages, emails as well as browse the internet; making this unit a dedicated GPS unit with some mobile phone functionalities. This Danew GS 410 GPRS In-Car Satellite Navigator runs of the Windows CE .Net 5.0 Core version platform and works with the SiRF Atlas III dual-core processor for faster experience. It features a 64MB RAM and a 1GB flash memory. This memory capacity can be increased using external SD memory cards. Danew GS 410 Satellite Navigator is powered by a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery that has a life of 3.5 hours. An in-built antenna is integrated with a SiRFstar III GPS receiver. The main interfaces include a USB slot, a 3.5mm jack for connecting headphones and a SIM card slot. It measures 125 x 80.3 x 19 mm in dimensions and weighs about 180 grams. It uses the Destinator software for providing navigational assistance. With the help of this software, the unit guides you from A to B safely and quickly. It has an in-built MP3 and video player that allows the unit to work as a portable media player when not in navigational mode. Also it includes a picture viewer for viewing photographs of near and dear ones.
