Medion has introduced a satellite navigator; the Medion GoPal P5430 Satellite Navigator that is packed with high end features.
Medion GoPal P5430 In-Car Satellite Navigation System includes with a large 5-inch touchscreen display that supports about 65000 colours. It has a dimension of 141 x 93 x 19 mm and weighs about 248 grams. It uses Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system that works on a high performance SiRF Titan processor that is clocked at 600 MHz. its internal antenna is integrated with a SiRF InstantFix II GPS receiver. It also includes an integrated FM transmitter and a TMC antenna. It comes with a 1GB internal memory and provides a slot for connecting external memory cards. Additionally a 3.5mm jack is includes for connecting headphones and a jack for connecting the TMC antenna along with a slot for USB interface.
Medion GoPal P5430 Satellite Navigator utilises NavteQ mapping software that contains the maps of 43 European countries preloaded in the system. It includes a Traffic Master function that helps you avoid traffic jams and road congestions. It comes with a text-to-speech function that announces the names of the upcoming roads and junctions, allowing you to concentrate on the road. Medion has also included a Lane and Speed Advisor that instructs you on the correct lane and speed limit that is to be followed. Along with accurate route guidance this sat nav also provides you with time-to-time voice directions providing you with better control over the road.
Medion GoPal P5430 Portable Satellite Navigator comes with Bluetooth compatibility that allows you to transfer data over wireless network as well as make and receive calls hands free.
