Navman has managed to cater the need for a complete navigational system with their Navman S100 Satellite Navigator; which assists users in navigating either in a car or in pedestrian mode.
Navman S100 In-Car/Pedestrian Satellite Navigator can be fixed in the car for accurate navigational guidance, its street level mapping mode can be activated for pedestrian mode. It comes with a dimension of 78 (H) x 130 (W) x 13.5 (D) mm and a weight of 150 grams. It has a 4.3-inch touch screen display with a display resolution of 480×272 pixels. It works on a Samsung 2450 processor clocked at 400MHz. It has an internal RAM memory of 128MB and a flash memory of 1GB. The memory capacity can be increased using SD memory cards. This sat nav is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. Its internal in-built antenna is integrated with a high sensitivity SiRFstarIII GPS receiver with InstantFixII chip-set.
Navman S100 Satellite Navigator includes the TeleAtlas map data, which is updated with the latest maps as well as several points of interest. The screen displays the major landmarks in 3D formats. The addresses can be located using the postcode and certain places which do not feature a postcode can be located using the geotagged navigational facility provided by Navman. The Navman S100 announces the names of roads and junctions as and when they approach, thus enabling you to concentrate on the road. Also it provides clear voice instructions regarding which lane to take or when to take a turn etc.. This sat nav can pre-plan you r route with multiple stopovers. In case you want to locate the nearest shop or hotel, you can use the Local Search service offered on you GPS device.

For this purpose, Navman S100 Slim and Light-Weight Satellite Navigator comes with an exclusive capture button. You just need to press the button when you find any place interesting, the device will automatically store the location in the memory. It can also plan the most economical route for you thus helping you save on fuel. Additionally this widget can also store and play your favourite music tracks en-route.
