Navon N470 is the latest addition to Navon’s N-series satellite navigation system. It is designed for those who travel around Europe and Hungary regularly. It comes with the map of Eastern Europe and Navon has offered a one year free updating of maps from the date of purchase. Within a dimension of 124mm X 85mm X 19mm, this GPS device incorporates a 4.3 inches TFT display. The resolution of the display is 480 X 272 pixels and it provides a vivid and clear view of icons, maps and routes.
Navon N470 Auto GPS Navigation System offers a fast performance with its Microsoft Windows CE operating system and Centrality Atlas III processor. The software employed in it is Nav n Go’s iGO amigo, which provides plenty of features that eases navigation. The route calculation of this GPS navigator is remarkable. The users can choose the route he desires such as highways or toll free roads etcetera. There is TMC traffic alerts that provide users about the traffic information of the place. It not only reports the traffic congestions, but also suggests an alternative route to the destination.
Navon N470 has a ‘where I am function’ in it that aids users during emergency. The current location, police stations, car service centres, hospitals and so on, of the place could be easily located using this Navon sat nav. It comes with certain entertainment features such as video player and picture viewer. It can play back video files in ASF, AVI, MP4, 3GP and WMV formats. The audio files it supports include MP3, WMA and WAW. Similarly, it can display photographs in JPEG, BMG and PNG formats. The built-in mono loudspeaker of the sat nav provides a decent sound quality. The users can fit a 3.5mm earpiece for a personal listening experience.
For the connectivity with external devices, Navon N470 has a miniUSB port. This enables you to transfer files to and from this GPS Nav. The internal memory of this device is 64MB, which could be expanded using an SD card up to a maximum of 4GB. The battery of the device is in-built and provides an approximate usage time of 4 hours.
