Pioneer has introduced a satellite navigator; Pioneer AVIC F700BT Satellite Navigator the with audio player, iPod compatibility, Bluetooth and many more features.
Pioneer AVIC F700BT In-Car Satellite Navigator has a wide 5.8-inch touch screen display that comes with a screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The screen provides both day viewing mode and night viewing mode. It includes a slot for connecting external SD memory cards and a slot for USB interface. It has a 2GB flash memory that comes with the maps of about 33 European countries that is pre-loaded in the system. It also includes 3D elevation maps. Along with the maps this sat nav also includes about 1.5 million points of interest. The NavGate Feeds allows you to add customised points of interest in the system. With so many POI’s it is very easy to locate the nearest gas station or hotel.
Pioneer AVIC F700BT Satellite Navigator can calculate the nearest and the shortest route to your destination. It can also calculate the quickest route that avoids major tolls that occur en-route. On the screen, the arrival time, current time and remaining time is displayed. You can either locate an address by using the suburb or state or the postcode. The AVIC F700BT provides you an alert when you exceed the speed limit. It comes with Tex-to-Speech compatibility which indicates that the roads and junctions are announced as they appear on the screen. This helps you to stay focused on the screen. That not all, it instructs you on a regular basis of the directions you need to take by clear and precise voice commands. The voice and menu support is provided in 20 European languages.
Pioneer AVIC F700BT Portable TMC Satellite Navigator uses dynamic routing facility. The sat nav uses the TMC facility to provide real-time traffic updates, and in case of road blocks diverts you through another alternative route. The device’s Bluetooth compatibility allows you to make and receive calls handsfree and also transfer data and files over a wireless network. You can connect you iPod to the external connector provided and its in-built media player plays your favourite tracks. It includes an Anti-Theft Protection function that safe guards your device from being stolen.
