Route 66 is a Dutch company that has announced two portable navigation devices; the Route 66 MINI Satellite Navigator and the Route 66 MAXI satellite navigator about a year back.
Route 66 MINI In-Car Satellite Navigator has a height of 81mm, a width of 95mm, a depth of 19mm and a weighs about 151 grams. It comes with a 3.5-inch display that has a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It works on a Microsoft Windows CE 5.0 operating system with a processor that is clocked at 266 MHz. It has 64MB of RAM and 64MB ROM memory. This memory can be increased using SD and MMC memory cards. Its internal in-built antenna is integrated with a Navstar GPS receiver. Its rechargeable lithium-ion battery has a battery life of only 2 hours.
