You could hear Brian Blessed bellowing out directions on your TomTom Sat Nav soon! This Yorkshire actor, who is known for his loud, booming voice has been voted in huge number in a campaign on Facebook.
Initiated by one of his fans in Facebook for fun, this campaign gained a wide popularity and attraction of members. To say, it has attracted 7000 members, within two weeks of its launch. This made it one of the fastest growing campaigns of Facebook. TomTom too got attracted to this sudden rise of membership and the company has now promised to sign up the actor for sat nav systems voice delivery, if the campaign gained 25,000 members.
Brian Blessed is also happy with the offer and has said he would happily lend his voice, if this becomes a deal. Other best-selling celebrity voices of TomTom sat nav are that of Snoop Dogg’s, John Cleese’s and Homer Simpson’s.
