Vexia has unveiled an eco-satnav range; Nexia Econav Sat Nav range, the devices of which would advise the driver how, as well as where to drive, apart from ensuring the first six months usage’s payment themselves. The manufacturer Vexia claims that their new flagship sat nav models would not only slash fuel consumption, but also the carbon emissions by 30 per cent.
For engaging it, the driver simply is required to feed the car and fuel types, and the number of passengers before starting the drive. Thenceforth, it will render timely advices on gear status, as well as acceleration like a co-pilot on a hippie rally, says Vexia. This sat nav is a dependable GPS device too, as its pedestrian mode, 3D view, speed camera warning and lane indication features more than substantiate.
Vexia plans to launch a couple of models initially. The Vexia Econav 350 Sat Nav is a compact device with a 3.5” LCD display that is also a touchscreen. The second one is Vexia Econav 430 Sat Nav that is tad larger with a 4.3” screen. UK maps come with both the models, although wide coverage of Europe can be availed for an extra GBP100.
