garmin voice studio Garmin Announced Voice Studio Garmin, the global leader in satellite navigation solutions has announced Voice Studio, a PC application by which users can record their own voice and load it into their Garmin sat nav. Even though this application creates pre-recorded navigation prompts, the user cannot use this to create text-to-speech recordings. Garmin is set to exhibit this application at the coming Consumer Electronics Show 2010 at Las Vegas.

Garmin Voice Studio application could be downloaded from Garmin website for free of cost. Once installed on the PC, users can record phrases and edit them within the application. These voice files can be loaded on to the Garmin. Garmin claims that the whole process will take only 30 minutes. Besides, the loaded voice could be shared with other Garmin users.

Voice studio application is compatible with all Garmin Nuvi GPS Navigation Systems except Garmin nuvi 300 and Garmin nuvi 600. The new application enables the customers to take their favourite person with them, wherever they go. With this new application, Garmin has offered customers an unparalleled mode of personalization of sat nav.
