Garmin has announced a new service, termed as BirdsEye Satellite Imagery that allows the user to load hi-resolution satellite and aerial images to Garmin GPS Systems. This annual subscription-based service comes with a BaseCamp software, by which the user can transfer unlimited amount of data to Garmin device. The images can be integrated into the handheld maps as well.

Besides, it will be beneficial for the tourists to spot hot spots and landmarks easily with BirdsEye satellite imagery. The geocachers can determine the terrain type and parking areas faster. In short, BirdsEye Satellite Imagery enhances the satellite navigation, with better views.
