Google Earth to assist GPS Navigation in Vehicles

Google recently announced its plan to launch Google Earth as a basis of satellite navigation System in vehicles. Audi will be the fortunate car manufacturer to marks its first official launch. Audi’s latest A8 model will be the first to enjoy this facility. Apparently, all the 2011 model cars will be facilitated with the same.
It is obvious that other Google services including Google maps and local search will accompany the Google Earth. Thus, the GPS Navigation package for Audi will be a complete Google Navigation Package. In order to make this possible, Audi A8 is turning into a mobile Wi-Fi connection. This connection will enable the vehicle to download real-time information to the vehicle.
Besides, this new system is said to be capable to exhibit 3D satellite images, Panoramic photographs, popular locations, Wikipedia tags and topographic features.
