The NavReady OS comes with integrated Bluetooth support that enables the user to call handsfree while driving, apart from transferring files to and from, other compatible devices. This OS also allows the pertinent satnav to connect to any Windows PC that has an internet account. The user can search for data, as well as download updates, as the net is virtually passed through to the satnav.

Windows CE is widely used as the operating system by many GPS manufacturers, except the big two; namely Garmin and TomTom. TomTom had developed NavCore OS, its patent software that is Linux based, and Garmin too had developed their own OS.
