Now the GPS slides on to the camera platform! In the recent CES 2010 show at Las Vegas, Sony unveiled a new digital camera with a GPS receiver and a digital compass. The GPS receiver and the digital compass of this camera will record the location and the direction of the shot you capture. This will enable you to view the images on a map.
Other usual features found in this Sony Point-n-Shoot Camera with GPS include a 10X optical zoom, 3 inches display, anti-motion blur mode, high speed shooting, image stabilization, 1080 high definition mode and handheld twilight mode.
Sony Cyber-Shot HX5V Digital Camera with GPS is available for pre-order now. It has been priced at $350 and will start shipping from January 25th.
