TomTom has announced three new flagship GPS navigational units, the GO x50 Live series. These three models are claimed to feature a revamped interface and sport TomTom’s IQ Routes technology that is capable of daily computing the best route based on the average speeds instead of counting on theoretical speed limits.
For people who believe in contributing to the environment, the Eco-Route feature has been provided that calculates the most fuel efficient route. Additionally, the system is said to be able to provide safety camera alerts, real-time traffic information, up-to-date fuel prices and many more Live data to the driver while in transit. One can enjoy the privilege of Live services by paying £8 per month.
Apparently, the GO 950 Live is set up with maps of America, Canada and 45 European countries, the GO 750 Live is equipped with the maps of 45 European countries, while the entry-level GO 550 Live is loaded with the maps of UK and Ireland.
All the three Sat Nav are expected to go on sale this autumn; pricing details are yet to be released.
