Vexia UK has announced its plans to release the latest Econav 435 that is an eco-friendly in-car navigational unit. This Econav unit claims to reduce fuel consumption by almost one-third and helps save about £400 per year in petrol costs. It is said to be capable of notifying users about the most ecological and economical way to drive on a real-time basis.
The Econav 435 comes with a 4.3-inch touch screen display for viewing navigational data. Vexia has apparently incorporated the “Accelerator Pedal Indicator” that indicates whether the accelerator pedal is being used correctly or not. This judgement is done on the basis of the software’s conclusion of the optimum acceleration of the car and the legal speed limit of the zone. Additionally, it is also said to be able to inform users about the best gear to drive in.
The Vexia Econav 435 is expected to start shipping in the last week of September at £169.99 for UK version and £219.99 for the European version of maps.
