There is such a big market for a HGV sat nav and can anyone tell me why it is not easy to get any information on it as i think it would be the best one to have.

  2. frustrated says:

did not expect this pn6000 to disappoint with all its glorified technologies but my heart has been sinking since it was bought in Feb this year.

    1. It has got a touch screen keypad function for typing in a place. sometime it does not recognises certain places, i.e. the keypad would only highlights the letter it thinks i’m trying to spell of a certain place, however, by doing so, i would be prevented from completeing the spelling of a place i want b’cos it wouldn’t highlights the letter i need to complete the spelling of a particular place! same with the postcode.

    2. there were occasions when it’d started ok with the voice guidance but then it’d suddenly went silent and refused to continue with the voice directing…???…in which i’d have to reset it again.

    3. i don’t need to use it that often, but when i do, i just wish that it would behave and let me get on with my life! Now – i took it out recently to show it off to a friend but we didn’t have to go far before this wondrous device played up big time! Its battery refused to be charged so the screen just went dead right there – how very embarrasing!

    4. later i’ve found out it was the lithium polymer battery that wasn’t working. why it wouldn’t i’d very much like to know b’cos this is after all a spanking new product which i’d bought in february this year?

    5. worst still is that i could not find a replacement battery!!! i’d tried the local shops, the internet but why nobody stock it is a big mystery to me. unless a replacement is found the GPS is basically is as good as dead.

    6. right now i can say i HATE this dayton pn6000.
